7 Things Successful Women Never Say

“I never take holidays”
Never taking a vacation is one of the dumbest things you can do. Everyone else takes a vacation, so why shouldn’t you? Successful people know how important it is to take it easy and recharge their batteries. Having a holiday is very important and something you are entitled to. An overworked employee will get nowhere.

“I can’t”
Successful people never say “I can’t”. That expression doesn’t exist in their world.

“I don’t get paid enough for this”
If the truth be told, almost no one today gets paid enough for the jobs they do, but complaining about it creates bad vibes and a bad relationship with your boss. Success and money will come if you work hard – and instead focus on raising your salary at the pay review instead of refusing certain things on principle.

“I don’t know how to do it”
Successful people never say they don’t know how to do something. Even if they don’t know how to do something, they make sure to figure it out. Either by observing others who can, asking questions or doing research.

“Yes” (to everything)
Saying yes to everything won’t improve your career prospects or your life. You can’t do everything and being able to say no is important and shows strength.

“I don’t have time”
Saying you don’t have time for something really means you don’t want to do it. Successful women instead put it forward that they absolutely can do it but it will take this long or that they are currently working on one thing and it might be better if someone else does it instead. It’s all about presenting it in the right way.

“It’s not fair”
Life isn’t fair. How many times have we heard that? Successful people focus on what they can do and not on how unfair things are. Successful people don’t waste time complaining, it just creates a bad atmosphere and you are seen as a negative person.
