Intuition tells you something’s not right.
Each of us is gifted with this wonderful tool called intuition that warns us when something is not right. I trust people and don’t usually check. But one time I felt I needed to look more closely into the identity of a man who had asked me out. It turned out he was not exactly a trustworthy person. People can change when they want to and a troubled past can be a life lesson and an opportunity for personal growth. But not for everyone.
You have a headache, literally.
First and foremost we are energy. Our bodies are made up of subtle fields that, even if you can’t see them, you can feel them. If the mere presence of a man literally gives you a headache, especially if you’re not the kind of woman who usually gets migraines, chances are that person will literally give you a headache later. The headache is a sign of energetic vampirism or simply a sign that you are vibrating energetically on a different level and most likely, you are vibrating higher than he is.
His words and actions are at odds.
It’s easy to tell a person that they’re important to you but those words are worthless if they’re not backed up by actions. Unless there is instant recognition at a soul level, which is felt through a sense of having come home, building a relationship where the other really matters takes time. Besides, a man for whom you really matter will show you that before you say it.

A man who rushes to put his hand on your butt or grope you when you’re not a couple isn’t showing you the respect you deserve even if he says it out loud. His gestures show that, in his eyes, you’re just another piece of meat and that’s it. Allowing him to behave like this will prove him right.
