Flaxseed for younger and healthier skin

How to prepare face masks with it

We know that consuming nuts has a number of benefits for our health. Seeds are also an important part of our menu. One of the most beneficial is flaxseed. In order to be able to get benefits from it, it is important to consume it ground. Its consumption improves the peristalsis of the intestines, it is good for the heart, the brain, but also for the skin.

How does it affect its health and beauty?

Reduces the signs of aging
One of the most impressive benefits of flaxseed is its ability to reduce the signs of aging. It contains lignans – polyphenols that are believed to be able to protect the skin from damage caused by the sun and other environmental factors.

Also, the small seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which contribute to keeping the skin nourished and supple. Regular consumption of ground flaxseed helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other forms of premature aging. Omega-3s are also believed to be highly anti-inflammatory and improve skins with eczema or psoriasis. Last but not least, flaxseeds also contain omega-6 fatty acids, which are also an important component for healthy skin.

Improves collagen synthesis
Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, making up about 25% of the weight of all tissues. It is found naturally in the skin, hair and nails. It helps to keep the skin smooth and elastic, thereby also reducing skin aging. Collagen helps to improve the barrier function of the skin. Since the synthesis of collagen in our body decreases as we age, we can stimulate this process by consuming flaxseeds as well as other beneficial foods for this purpose.
